Why did you smooth call that turn card?

Good question - a mistake possibly, but I didn't want to chase away the other two players and the original raiser was a terrible player and I wasn't worried about him at all. I also didn't think either of the other players would play Axs that way so I wasn't worried about a better flush draw, and if it hit I think they both would have called my raise on the river.

5-way pot on the flop....god knows, but I'm calling on the river.

Id probably flat call the turn as well if I had gotten there, whilst you have a good hand you cant stand a reraise and it would ruin your chance of drawing out.

My guesses would be Triple probably has a set or a bluff, Danne has a pair.

    I would have raised also.

Find out who is holding what.

If you get reraised back you can always thrown them away.

I can never understand sometimes why people before to get as many callers than trying to win pots early and not getting in trouble with 5 players

I pretty much thought the same, I called in the chance that it was a bluff by Triple and I had a higher pair than Danne. But to be honest I didn't think I would win but for $4, I think I had to call.

What I really found interesting about this hand though was what both of them had.

Believe it or not they BOTH had AA, and they BOTH were giving fantasitc odds for any kind of draw or low pair to double up. I actually couldn't believe it in the end. And that's what caused me to post this hand. It would have been absolutely lovely if that third club had falled or a random Q or K on the river, to bust two terribly played AA.

Just my point of view but there's no way I would have re-raised here, KQ is such a dangerous hand, with so many players there's no way a pair of K's could be winning, a raise would only lead to a re-raise or a call, and I'd find out exactly what I already knew - I'm behind!
I was only playing that hand for flush value if it hit. And as I already outlined I had a strong (correct) feeling that neither had Axs to have a better flush draw.

Also I was on the button, and KQs is a hand I would throw away normally to a raise, I think of it as simply a drawing hand, same as 10Js. I absolutely hate it. Nothing to do with this hand in particular, I just find you'll be up against AQ or AK nearly every time.

Well I have seen two different people with KK on the same hand.but this takes it. I certainly dont know what the two were playing at. One of them should have made a significant bet at some point but nothing. They could have easily been out drawn by the king and maybe thats what they were worried about. then again both may like to play AA this way to squeeze as much out of people as possible dont make a move until someone makes one then just flat call or then again maybe they were waiting for the flush draw since maybe not you but some people would call whatever they bet because they think they will hit the flush and win it.

If you have PT do a search for PokerAce (Click on the PokerAce Hud link) and install. Works for Party and Pokerstars at least. Another older tool is Gametime+. Have a poke around the PT site for that although PokerAce is miles better.

Seperate application that runs with Poker tracker, called Game Time+, an absolute must in my opinion. you can download it from the Poker Tracker website for free.
