Hi there,
There is an issue with role permissions that is being worked on at the moment.
If you are having trouble with access or permissions on regional forums please post here to get access: https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058365403/you-do-not-have-permission-for-that#latest

Is it just me, or did the forums just go all weird?

The css went away it seems. Move along, nothing to see here etc..

    It's not just you.

They were down completely earlier today too. After Hours seems OK, but elsewhere looks a bit plain. It may be temporary or a glitch.

Cloud skin suddenly went icky and white, like the crappy scheme most users use. Horrible, it was.

Had a very temporary loss of stylesheets, but all is good again.

Yeah it just went plain, fixed now though.
Earlier though, couldn't get on at all, kept saying "connection refused" or "this document contains no data"...just me?or did that happen everyone?

Interesting, because http://news.bbc.co.uk/ also appears to have lost its .css today as well.... (from firefox it looks that way anyway)

    It's a conspiracy.

The odd time the admins do an update to the site, they usually give us plenty of warning - and even when they don't, when the site is down, they give us a message on the site telling us exactly what is happening. It's usually just a matter of an hour or two before normality is restored. Occasionally a few glitches will follow - CSS styles dissappearing briefly while a file is replaced; the site slowing down in general; so on... Fine. Understandable.

Without fail, though, you will find a thread in Feedback or some other forum with some dim poster yelling from the rooftops that "OMG BOARDS IS TEH DOWN, WHAT IS TEH GOING ON LIKE TBH?!".

    People are strange.

    Especially Internet people.
