    Hi all,
I am in desperate need of more space as my laptop drive is completely full. I need to get an external hard drive (accessible via Firewire) since my USB ports are full and only have a budget of 100 - 130 Euros, I'm afraid.

Can you reccomend me one? I'm not that good with hardware :(

I was thinking of this one (for Windows XP SP 2) but am well and truly open to suggestions!

Would u by any chance have a normal ide harddrive lying around, if so u can just buy an enclosure that u place the harddrive in and it then plugs into your laptop. It would save u a bundle but u have to have the harddrive first :).

No. I don't im afraid so I might as well just get a pre-enclosed one as it works out about the same ...

Amazon often have good deals and specials on external drives. Also check OcUK they had one on special last week I think.
