The jasmine do takeaways, and they or the Peony Court are probably the best Chinese(s?) in Limerick. Otherwise the Wokking is good.

Zweton do nice food and that place across from the train station (used to be a dump) is not bad. Wokking is ok..

www.takeawayfood.ie is a great link for takeaway..lists a lot of the Chinese in Limerick and most of the other take-aways..has menus on line for most and tells you whether they deliver or not..gets a lot of use here!!

If you fancy some indian..copper and spice is badass

Woking, Jasmine and Ze-We-Ton are all owned by the same family as far as I know.

For me you cannot beat The Woking for Chineese takeaway. They deliver from their O'Connell Street place too.

There is the King Palace right next to the Regional Hospital also. The Peony Court is quite good aswell but a bit far away for me.

The Jazz house on Davis street do nice take away, also the wokking do deliveries.

The peoney court is alright , but a little pricey, they do not deliver either.

Did anyone mention the Mayflower yet ?

Zweton is close to where I live, I went there a few times
and was disapointed. Tiny portions at a crazy price and it
did not taste great at all.

The King Palace or the place near the Ambasader or whatever name it goes
by now. (Beside the Highway pub) I have heard nightmare stories about!
My own Mother got food poisoning there from the food before. And the first
time she went there after she ate the meal (in there) she felt sick and vomited
and she said the staff were failry rude/ignorent and not very friendly or helpful.
I used to get my curried chip when Langers there.

Out Raheen area I think there is a new chinese opening up plus another
    unnamed take-away.

By Far the best reputation I have heard of was some take-away all the
way out in patrickswell.......speaking ofpatrickswell there is another New
    Chinese just opened out there.

naw the one Beside Russell Bar in Dooradoyle/Fr. Russell Rd.
Did not even know there was one in Town also.

For the ones in Town I went into the Jasmine a few times
but business type lunches and I loved the place.
All you can eat for a set price. The starters was so nice
you would eat them instread of the main meal.
