No more 8 minute blind games like this nonsense. waste of my time.
if its for charity or two dollars maybe , otherwise, better off playing in the five thousand rebuy for 18 dollars with 15 minute blinds

Silly blinds. One beat for most of my stack after the rebuy period and I was hanging on for a bit and finally 19th.

    awh well, 2nd place.
Heads up he had 260k to my 160k i think, i flopped a str8 flush draw, and chased his bets , it didnt come, left me with 30k, got it up to around 80k by stealing, then he raised to 24k (blinds 6k/12k)
i pushed he called with K6,
    i had Q9

no improvement for either and its 2nd for me.

    well done CoD, nice result!

Came 5th for a nice $200 CoD knocked me out. Joint shortstack folded around to me at SB went all in with Q10o, CoD was ment to fold, he didn't, and that was that.

LOL CoD and you called the other guy an idiot for trying to isolate play with his AJ - What were you thinking? Chasing a straight flush heads up. If it's open ended you're trying to hit two cards at best. It sounds like he's leading out with the betting and he could already have the straight. You don't say what he did have... I'm sure it was an abberation on your part... and well played anyway.

But will also have a hand if he hits one of another six cards for the straight, still presuming it's open ended, or one of another six cards for the flush, 14 cards in total.

Completely different scenario...Calling an all-in from 1 of the 2 players that has you covered with AJ when you're in 3rd with 13 left. You have no reason to be involved in this pot, you're either completely dominated or playing for at best a 50/50 for all your chips.

In COD's case he has a flush draw and a straight draw (possibly open ended) and is heads-up against someone who could be betting with as little as Top Pair or two pair. The only question is whether a push on the flop might have scared him off or not. I don't see anything hugely wrong with COD's play here with the information we have.

I was stupid enough to push all in with (just) COD still to act after me..

lol, jd's play wasnt that bad, if i had anything other thank AA-QQ I'd probably be folding, as I didnt want to get involved with another similar stack. But even the guy on the 35k prob was calling until i pushed, I'm not sure i'd be comfortable with AJ, then again i hate the hand so it wasnt as bad to call you an idiot

My hand I didnt want to push as I assumed he had a pair, and would call my all in. I wanted to see if i had it for as cheap as possible(wasnt that cheap but i still had 30k more chips than the all in) I know he had a hand in the end as he bet just less than i had, usually a sign to get me to go for the push. I think it was ok play to try and make the straight or flush, as if i did i'd have been all in and him too.

Duff man, i think i had the bb in already and i thought i might as well call, think i was a big chip leader and assumed it was a 60/40 sorta thing.

My bad hand of the night was when it was down to 3 players

A shorter stack and the other guy (who won) just behind me, i was bb(10k bb), and the larger stack on the button made it 40k.
I had QQ, think we both had around 120-130k each, i pushed him. He only done that sort of raise when he was on a hand, and I didnt mind taking his 40k there and then. He thought about it and folded it in, obviously not wanting to lose out on $200 when theres a far shorter stack.
Kinda wish i had to called him and seen a flop. and acted on it. A ace high flop would have been easy to get out of, and he probably would have put himself all in on anything. Really do wish I'd have played it like that now.
