anyway to rip this type of video.

the reason i ask is there's a video in flash of a band playing a song that i'd really like to learn how to play it when i'm offline and would be handy having it as a mpeg, avi etc.

Why don't you save the page to your computer and open your browser instead ofusing mpeg?

if i save the page then go offline and open it up i can't view the video.

Try getting a program called url snooper. Handy for finding links to streaming media.

i've tried the url snooper program but to no avail unfortualately.

the biffy clyro link is down near the end (there is a scroll bar there)

i also tried guessing the filename but to no avail again.

can you tell me how you got the links to the killers and kasabian?
