Not Cork city. That doesn't work well for other Munster people, and all this Capital of Culture nonsense would annoy and confuse everyone. Too many buskers.

Mallow isn't as much of a farmer-infested hell-hole as people think. Sure, we no longer have roads, and have had to fill the holes with sheep carcases, but aside from that, it's not bad. We're even getting our own Pizza Hut two weeks from tomorrow. Simple things amuse us country folk.

Anyway, i suppose Cork city might be the best place for it. It has a train station, there are plenty of places to go and you have a better chance of not getting stabbed than Limerick.

Speaking as someone from Limerick, I second that sentiment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 448 ✭✭Jack Lynch

Did it go ahead on the 2nd? Or the 3rd? I may have accidentally not been there...
