you stomach probably just got smaller, when you start eating less and better your body/stomach doesn't need as much food to work and so your stomach shrinks, but when your eating crappy foods that do nothing for you, you need more and more of them so your stomach grows and grows

Sparky, don't worry if you don't eat too much. It just means you are fuel efficient. Anyway Wtfpwned more than makes up for you. :)

To the OP. Try drinking 2 or 3 litres of water before a meal. Look at the food your eating, it's junky sugary carbs....

Don't know what meds your on, but the next thing you know it will be something for a heart complaint if you keep eating like that!

Sounds like you need to really flush out your system, get some Aloe Vera juice in the health shop and take it for a week.

That is a serious amount of food!

Maybe you should take advantage of the medication side-affect, and enter a pie-eating contest.

Youve got a pretty good chance by the looks of things.

yeah was wondering that, im never tired, i always thought that you needed more food for energy, which would be the case on most people.
but i can be wide awake at 6 every morning and go to bed at 12 that night and not be tired, even though id be on the move all day only resting period would be lunch for 30 mins.
but noticably would be a weekends if i woke up at say 9am id be tired say after 5pm, i dont know why, its probably because im not on my normal routine.

It might be stress Sparky? Are you working/studying? Sounds like you're totally hyped up during the week (wake early and don't feel sleepy) then it catches up on you at the weekend. It also can be an appetite killer. Are you losing weight?

OP, did your doc warn you about the side effects? How long will you be on this medication?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,645 ✭✭✭Shrimp

may I ask what the medicaition is.. oor did the doctor/pharmacist said it would cause this side effect?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,005 ✭✭✭✭Flukey

I could see that leading to people posting huge 1 meg pictures of boobs all over this place.

i'm on epilem, because i have a predisposition to epilepsy.

i was told that a side-effect would be weight gain, which i have noticed

but i wasnt warned about the appetite thing - i'm thinking it might not be the medication, since i have been on this medication for a year now, and the increased appetite has only been this bad in the last few weeks

I realise that, it being the busiest forum, but it would be nice. I don't expect it to happen of course.
