no i'm not making it up, that's what they're called...

here's a clip of them performing a no touch ko

and here's a clip when they add in that nasty thing called Resistance/Reality...

click, May not be safe for work because of other content on the site.

you can read more about the 'challenge' here

Two Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners from Australia have stepped forward to challenge their local Yellow Bamboo representative to prove once and for all that no-touch or Chi knockouts are, and have always been, complete and utter bull****. The test was set up as follows. The YB practitioner assumes a stance on the sand and is given time to prepare his Chi in accordance with YB practices. The challenger then runs 20 feet across the sand and attacks the YB practitioner. As the challenger is making his run, the YB practitioner has to effectively disable or deflect him using his chi.

The real question is, what were you doing on that site in the first place JK? :D

I would imagine after that demonstration not one of the senior yellow bambo changed their believes.

Lol - Very good seen it before.

Yup colm. On bullshido.com there was a bit of talk about this video.
The Yellow Bamboo lads claimed that because the JJ guys trained in MA that they knew how to deflect the Chi and this is the reason it did not work on them..

I guess it's just cause I didn't have to live with them like they did, but from the video the Chi guys just come across as deluded, whereas the BJJ guy comes across as a giddy wanker.

...whereas the BJJ guy comes across as a giddy wanker

might be a reason they come across that way...

I've just noticed the thread re the Yellow Bamboo 'test' held in Perth earlier this year and would like to clarify some of the issues surrounding that encounter. I'm the second 'attacker'...the guy with the black T-shirt.

I've been questioned as to why we bother. Aside from the fact that they charge folk AUD$900 to learn their bs, there is another more compelling reason.

At the new age expo last year I watched some very vulnerable people becoming seduced by this clap trap. It was sad, so sad. One guy was almost on the verge of tears...he said he was looking for something to help him get his life back together again and was hoping YB would be the answer.

It's for people like this that we dedicate our efforts. Let them find solace and comfort in something with meaning and truth behind it, something with integrity....not some 'white magic' thought up by a former Indonesian public servant with laugh-lines around his pockets.
