Steam messes up my DSL

Hows it going, I have bt broadband plus package and its fine, until i use steam to play counterstrike online. Sometimes when steam loads it instantly knocks off my DSL and ACT lights on the prestige 600 router :confused: Been through the windows firewall and thats all ok... Just wondering if any of you had the problem…

Hows it going,

tell me more about the problem.
Do you get onto the Game Server?
or do you get kicked even before you get that far?
