    Hey Guys
anyone got any advice on a good shop where I could get a flat screen monitor (LCD)... you know, the kind of place where they will actually let you take the screen out of the box and test it... ? In dublin, preferably

    Thanks a mill

I'm afraid of dead pixels (nasty creature - out to get me ;) ), which is why i want to actually test the screen before i buy...

Peats sell LCD's. You can check the prices from your armchair at:

    http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/shop/db.cgi?view=1&id=499&type=5&path=14x139

Also check marxcomputers.ie (they're open Saturday 10-2) probably sell LCD's too. They're in Fairview.
