OK we all know Pokémon was a great game, but what selection of Pokémon did you use? I have played Blue, Gold and Ruby but on Pokémon Gold I had level 100 for all six of my Pokémon which were:

Feraligatr (water)
Ampharos (electric)
Golem (Rock)
Dragonite (Dragon)
Victreebell (Grass)
Espeon (Psychic)

So what ones did you have?

Hey, you. How did you get Mew in the red version?

there was a way to get it from a cheat cart and you could clone it. althogh I think you could get it from japan games or somethin and it still worked. my mate had it but he wouldnt let anyone clone it. the **** stain. it involved trading from one gameboy ot the other and one of the players (the sender i think) had to switch off their gameboy.


what a great game this was back in the day. cant really play em anymore tbh.

Do you remeber Nintendo Offical Magazine? I read it religiously. They moved up and down the UK and Ireland hosting expos where you could play all Nintendo games on all the consoles. They also had about 10 stations where you put in your game cartridge and Mew was transferred over directly. Only took about 5 seconds to do. Of course, the real trick was having the patience to rare candy him to from level 5 to level 100!

On leaf green I have a Butterfree and a Ninetales , theyre all properly raised and trained perfectly. Still play them from time to time aswell. I havent really bothered to finish up my team.
