Centra...monday morning...pressed (centra brand) apple juice....75cent a bottle



Centra....tuesday morning...pressed apple juice...€1.25 a bottle (exact same stuff)...

so i said "what??...thats insane...why did you increase the price by over 50%?????"...she didnt reply and just asked for the €1.25.

I doubt she personally raised the price. It was probably someone else - store manager, general manager, franchise execs, whoever. Probably not the girl behind the counter working a shift on minimum wage.

Nor do I imagine she gave a crap about your displeasure. Unless you're talking to the manager, it's pointless to p1ss and moan about it.

Wooo, That's how I felt when I worked for Statoil, especially when people moaned about the petrol prices. its easy to make apple juice you just need the right stuff.....
a clean felt sack that the juice will strain out of and an apple press....
ive made real juice by hand before its ok... i prefer a smoothie maker with apple peices in it for the pulpyness

You obviously didnt notice that it was for 6 oj's. So that would make the apple/ orange and cranberry all £3.
