Which Laser Printer?

I'm in the market for a laser printer, and was wondering what you guys and gals think.

It's for home use and will get light/moderate use, printing mostly text. I'm looking for something fairly cheap and reasonably good quality for the price.

Any opinions on these from Elara?

Or does anyone think I should NOT go the Laser route???

    All suggestions and advice welcome.

What about the HP LaserJet 1020 from Komplett.ie. Bought one of these for a small office a few months ago and I've heard no complaints from the user.

They're quite good for the price, toners can be hard to get in shops, but easily obtained online. They're €149 in the shops though. For the sake of €10 i'd rather have face to face warranty!

I suspect any HP Laserjet will be a good buy, but:

I'm not sure if all of them work with an OS other than windows. Since a printer is something that you are not going to throw out in the next maybe 10 years maybe you should check if it is compatible with Linux/Mac OS.

If your budget allows get one with auto duplexing. You will be able to print on both sides of the page with ease then. The lack of this is the biggest fault I can find with my Laserjet 1200 which is 4 years old or so now.
