I love my DS, and I think the micro would be a step back, to be honest....... (It'll still sell like hotcakes, though.......)

I'm actually tempted. My original model GBA isn't great for playing link up games with the GC. Can barely see the screen. It's also lovely and small and has a decent price.

I'm more interested in this than the DS tbh. I never got round to getting a DS (I'd feel ridiculous paying full whack for a DS with a perfectly fine original GBA in my possession) but I need a backlit screen - I've given up trying to use my GBA for any fun purposes.

It has a huge advantage over the DS in being genuinely portable. Yes you can hold the DS in your hands but it's huge and it doesn't fit in your pocket. The PSP is a lot more compact but it's still a little bulky to carry around in your pocket constantly, you'd really want to be carrying a bag around to keep either of them in. The micro on the other hand looks like it has that mobile phone type always-in-your-pocket portability, it's something I could genuinely take out standing at a bus stop whereas I really wouldn't with the other consoles, they're more for nice safe train/plane/college type environments.

It's cute... but from what I've heard it's about the same size as my iPod mini... and that would be nightmarishly small for long sessions.
