Bought a new keyboard for my 6230 (the one for the 6230i with the nice new button:) ) they charge £5 sterling including shipping to Ireland.

(after volume! discounts the three of them cost me €16 shipped to Dublin and I could even track the shipping online)

    Arrived today work perfectly.

Some of the prices on accessories and batteries are incredible.

    Regards
    Dubal

Are they really genuine Nokia parts though? The pics they have of Nokia batteries do not show the nokia hologram on the battery. if you use a fake battery in your phone and it damages the phone you can kiss your warranty goodbye.

90% of those eBay keypads and covers are cheap asian imports and nearly always start to peel after a few weeks. My current silver 6230i cover is only two weeks old and already the paint is scrathed and bits missin and its in my pocket 90% of the time rubbing off nothing ( nothing if theres no ladies present that is :D )

I have the two keyboards here in front of me. I doubt if they are real parts but the difference is negligible and it fits perfectly. I can buy it for €20 in a shop or €5 from this place.

Batteries may have a different issue.

Just put the original Nokia battery back in when you go to get it replaced/fixed, No way they can know what battery you were using

Its' a bit hard to take out the fake battery when its spot welded to the phone.

Some times people don't register that fake goods aren't just cheaper because the genuine article is overpriced but that they aren't quality checked and use cheaper materials. This can make certain fake good leathal or at least the ability to mame

Well I don't have any intention to buy a battery, and I don't expect this keyboard to cause me any serious damage.

looks good price wise, yeah take it safe with the batteries alright especially with all those stories of dodgy ones a while back, but for covers and keypads i wouldn't be too worried.

    Anyone else try these?
