hey, i was just wondering has anything been organised similar to the aftershow party for the last weezer gig? i think it would be good to get something going, maybe not as big as the last one but somewhere designated for fans to go after the show....

i cant wait for the gig. i know the point is rubbish, but i couldnt get tickets for Vicar St and being in Galway im takin 2 half days to go the gig.
i think the new album is excellent and i think its going to be a class night.

Id say alot of people are getting jaded with the amount of good gigs available to us. The market is flooded and by all the talk of the lack of sales of the latest bud rising gigs the target audience just dont have the money to be going to all this stuff.

For Weezer to not come to Ireland for this long and then come to two gigs in the one year is just silly. To have it on the same night as one of the Bud Rising gigs is also silly. So yeh the excitment level is way lower than it should. Having said that Im looking forward to seeing them again (third time) because goddamnit they are Weezer and they know how to rock the bitches (since 1994).

totally forgot its on the same night as the pixies.... that will take from the crowd big time. still prefer to see weezer though....
it is rediculous alright theyre playin 2 gigs so close to each other, but im not complainin as there was heaps of people who missed out 1st time.....
wonder where the pixies crowd will go after?
impossible to have cash for all the gigs - and if u have to travel it makes it even worse. u have to be very selective. still - i intend to have a great night and go nuts.

It's on the day after the Pixies.

I think it was a good idea to play again so soon, mass excitement over a tiny gig, lots of disappointed fans, why not cheer them all up by playing again.
