    Well got the new PC last Friday and all I can say is :D:D:D

    3DMark05 was over 6,325. Is this a good score? Seems to run Half-Life 2 great but Medal of Honor Pacific Assault is a real drain. Can't play that at too high settings?

    I know ATI cards seem to like HL2 more than Nvidia ones, but it should eat MoH. What settings are you running it at? Any unnecessary things in the background?

    Running at 1280x1024 (60hz) with everything else on full and its choppy. If I use the automatic settings it has everything on full but with a screen res of 1024x768?

    Nothing running in background except Norton

    well norton is a whore for starters, make sure directx and gfx drivers are up to date, and make sure vsync is off

    nice machine, and i know you must have heard a lot of this but you should have built, you could've put together a really savage machine for that money

    If you cant play Pacific Assault at full then somethings already wrong.

    My PC, a 3.4ghz p4 with 1GB ddr ram and a 128mb x800se (lower end version of your card) can run it at 1280x1068 with all options full, no slowdown.

    Make sure you follow this up, if I was you I'd be annoying that my machine was already performing badly.

    Yep the spec I posted above is a Dell Machine, working fine on Pacific Assault all options on ;)

    Its actually a nice machine for a Dell, and only cost about 1200 at the time, last christmas. Can't complain really. Coulda built a new one for less but this one came with 5.1 surround speakers and a 17" tft and loadsa other small crap.

    ANYWAY, about the problem on hand here, you should definately be worried.

    What about the 3DMark05 of over 6,325? Is that doog enough for the machine?
