Anybody here ever order anything from the apple website? Can you tell me how long it usually would take to arrive after being "shipped"?

    Cheers

I ordered a mighty mouse on saturday and it arrived today.

It depends on the item and where it's coming from. A Powermac G5 should ship from Cork and arrive in about 1/2 days. My iBook
shipped from Taiwan and took about a week.

The average is about 3 days for everything I've ordered I'd say.
You should be able to track the parcel from the website.

    On sunday the 7th I ordered a iPod 20GB

It was shipped on the 9th
    It arrived on the friday..

On wednesday I called customer support and they gave me the TNT tracking number and I could track it on the web all the way from China

Well, I ordered an iBook, mighty mouse and two mini ipods last friday night, and the order status still lists it as "processing".

Why did your ipod come from china? Didn't they have a stock in cork?

They must build and ship from China as thats where TNT said it shipped from.. I got it engraved so maybe thats another reason!

Cork only produces powermacs. The are not a shipping depot. Everything is shipped via the european or far eastern hubs.

So the powermacs get made in cork, then get shipped to the 'european hub', then get shipped to dublin, from wherever the 'european hub' is.....

Can you not track the shipment on the site?

Mine just changed to "preparing shipment", and now I'm all tense.

I don't know if I can track my order on the web. I can't see anything like that.

The email I got saying my stuff had shipped also had a pacakge reference number in it, which I could put into the TNT website for Ireland and track my package.
