Nitrox Course

    Hey,

Have a week off at the end of Sept and will be in the Donegal area. Am looking to do a Nitrox course (might as well use the bloomin VR3 for something other than air! ;) )with one other person during the week. Most likely on the Monday and Tuesday (19/20th).

Does anybody know of a centre somewhere on the west that will do it? I was looking at a site last week and like an eejit I forgot to bookmark it. Think they were offering the course and 2 dives for 160ish.

    Cheers

    bf

Dunno about the dive centre, but you could probably have a dig about in your browsers history.

I'll point out folks (with two people in mind, one who is, happily, banned from this forum) that advertising is not allowed.

That been said bigfeller http://www.mevaghdiving.com/ do nitrox course according to CFT but I can't find any info on their site. Maybe give them a ring.

Drop Jack a pm too though and see if he can help you out.

Had a poke about there....spend too much time on the web and there's gazillions of pages. No luck at all...

Also should have said that both of us are CMAS qualified so not too sure if the PADI route is the way to go. Would prefer TDI/IANTD if possible.

I should really have more than one cup of coffee before posting...

Oh, and didn't mean to solicit advertising! Apologies...

No need to apologies, its just that I've had trouble with a certain Donegal dive center before (as have other mods on other boards) and I don't want a repeat of it. By all means ask anything you want ... :D

    Very dramatic indeed :p

Meevagh diving offers Nitrox fills, not sure about course but I can assure you that they are NOT affiliated to CFT at present.

Jack (not dublin bay) in Derry - think it is Marine sports or Dive North (google it - dont want to advertise)

I think your best bet was probably Jack from Dublin Bay Diving - who I can recommend :-)

    HTH
    :D
