Putting a file into registry?

    Probably is easy but I need to insert a file into the registry and don't know how.

    I have run regedit and cannot make head or tail of it.

    Any help?

    double click the .reg file and it'll ask you if you want to.

    Why do you want to put a file into the registry ? Do you mean make an entry in the registry ? becauase that is slighly different.
