RODE Condensor Mics

    Does anyone know if there is a RODE dealer in Dublin. I want to buy the RODE NT1A, but I don't want to buy it online. Any suggestions?

    Why not online? I have yet to buy a mic locally, it's just too expensive.

    If you must, try Soundlease in Portobello, Musicmaker, Waltons, Goodwins on Capel Street, there's another shop on Capel Street near the bridge who sell mics whose name escapes me. Dunno if they're Rode dealers though, there is no mention of any Irish dealers on their website and it's been so long since I went into a shop here to actually consider buying anything.

    I bought a Rode NT1-a a while ago, Brilliant Mic crystal clear.

    I use it for recording Acoustic Guitar and mainly Vocals could not be happier with the sound from it.

    I tried to find a dealer in Ireland for them but I ended up getting it on ebay for €110.

    I think that is a lot cheaper than you will pay in a dealer.

    Check out Big Bear Sounds I think they may stock them. If they don't I think they can get them in.

    I've an NT1 also. Great mic.

    I bought it from Studio Solutions who are a company somewhere in the country. I saw it on a secondhand list on there website studiosolutions.com. There was 2 available when I bought mine, but that was about a year ago. Still, check it out. I got mine for under 100 i think. with clip and pop shield.
