    Just to clarify...

NEAR fm is a community radio station that is completely not-for-profit.

All the presenters are volunteers and as such the music programmes are presented by people who have a genuine passion for the music they play.

I haven't heard Sounds of the Suburbs myself yet... but I'll have to have listen in at soon at some stage.

All the shows are also quite happy to have listeners come in to the station and talk on air and play some of their own tracks and I'm sure George and Paul would be more than happy to accommodate anyone who wants to do this.

Personally I think it's a good thing that people are willing to give up their free time to create a show each week to play punk.

But I agree... it does come across as a pretty spammy post alright... Just letting people know about the show was enough, George...

Being new to computers it took me three attempts to say what I could have said in one. I have now de-spammed myself but I had to plug the show. Do listen and we do want people to take an active part. We are a community radio station and we are not for profit. We are in it for the music and that's all. I promise all future posts will be spam free.

    George.
