Recycled Personal Computers

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows any groups that could make use of Personal Computers that are no longer required by the company that I work for.

We have 100+ computers that are about 5/6 years old and are going to
be thrown out in the next few weeks. These could be taken in either
small batches or in large batches depending on the needs of interested
groups. Please note we are not looking for any money for these
Computers.

The Computers are in excellent working condition, and have only been
decommissioned as the company have a policy of replacing machines
every 5 years.

I am currently trying to find out if there is interest in this and
then will have to put a proposal to my manager. I am fairly confident
that I will get his support.

Let me know if there are any groups you know that would be interested.

My Mother is part of a group of people who run a center for young people.
It's completely voluntary, they are trying to get computers to run computer classes for the kids and these would be ideal if it's possible to get 10-12

I know someone who has set up a charity which reconditions computers and sends them out to equip schools in Africa (Zambia, I think)
