naturalised citizen question

    Not sure where to put this. Since Citizenship is ultimately a political matter i guess it goes here.

    Q: If someone as a naturalised Irish citizen, and they married a non-EU national here in Ireland. Can that person attain Irish citizenship too (after 3 years or whatever)?

    More like 9 years. They will get a visa to stay for 1 year, then 3 years then 5 years if I recall correctly.

    There might be a way to speed that process up though. This isn't really a politics question.
