Any idea if the cimande players you mention are from eastwest studios in london (i.e. the same school as the walisongo crowd) or are they from the pukulan cimande pusaka school in northern ireland..?

I for one would be interested in seeing some walisongo in the flesh, particularly their take on harimau.

At the end of the day..........Silat is just Silat,a means of defence.Yes I study under Steven Benitez at EastWest........I've been studying and living close to the source for some time.Hariamu is a very effective system, but at the end of the day it aint the system....it's the effort that the student put's in to it ???? Hariamu.........isn't an art that could be studyed,by an unfit person as it takes at least three years of just hard physical training...for the body just to be right...to approach, the Hariamu system.I'm full time,learning.......and I aint no where close. To put it simply...it's ahard man's art.So Soma....with out being rude, what's your real name and what do you trian. My names Jason Kelly..........I'm just a student, but any one wanting to learn Silat in Belfast from March............will be tested,on fittness. As Silat and Phillie art's have to many student's and teachers of the fuller figure ???If you study a so called battle field system ???? then you have to be in to day's term's army fit ???............Lond distance running, sprint's,squat's,pull up's.Are what you'ed be doing before you'ed even get a sniff at any application.......Hopefully there will be a course but it could be after Christmas
but we'll see what happen's.All the best Jason Kelly.
