Graphic display problems

I think I may have deleted something from my computer (possible with CC Cleaner). Since I have deleted registry keys etc. some graphics on websites are not showing up, for example on this page on the top RH corner, there should be a graphic of some kind. But all I can see is a little box and written beside it: "click here".

Is this something to do with Java Script? Can I repair the problem? I hope so!
    Please help!

PS: My operating system is Windows XP.

Ok, so in the little box that says click here, why not click there :). When i usually do this in firefox it installs a plugin of some kind to allow me to veiw wat is missing :).

Yeah, sounds like a missing plugin.

Make sure you have java and images enabled too.
    Tools->Options->Web Features
Tick "Load Images" Untick "for originating website only"
Tick "Enable Java" and "Enable Javascript"

I clicked on that and it just led me to the website.

What website? There are quite a few of them.

The one about some gay event on the top RH corner of this page. Basically the link behind the words "click here". In fact, the words "click here" have now disappeared.

When you say "gay event" do you mean literally? The Queer Beers thing that has been on boards.ie?

TBH, I haven't seen that banner around lately, but when I did it was just a standard image, AFAIC remember.

Tick the boxes I told you to, and it should work, if it's still there (It's not on mine). Alternatively, it could be Adblocked - do you have Adblock installed?
Or, sometimes firewalls will block ads and images. Check your firewall if the above fails.

Yes, I meant the queer beers ad. I made a right mouse click and requested the image to be shown and then a notice appeared 'impossible to show .jpg file."

Is it showing any jpeg images?

You may have annoyed Windows' imaging thingy.

It probably requires a blood sacrifice now.

The other possibility is that you have some sort of adblocking thing, but the message seems to make that unlikely

Thanks for your help. if I disintall Windows and reinstall it again, would that solve the problem?

I uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled it, and the problem was solved!
