That's a fellow I know from another board, and that there is his collection of Thunderbirds. Only a small part of his 170+ guitar collection, I believe. That man must have the worst case of GAS in the world, but damn wouldn't everyone kill for such a collection? :D So, if anyone is getting guff from their respective missus…

So, if anyone is getting guff from their respective missus over buying yet another guitar, show her this pic and promtly tell her that's a real man's collection! Or you could just say "Well, at least I don't have THAT many! ...yet."

I have to say, I think 10-15 guitars (incl basses) would cover pretty much all of my possible needs... ever. I can't understand why you'd need so much more than you can possibly play.

Granted I don't buy as much as others on this board but my girlfriend never has a problem with me buying guitars and stuff once they look good. Now that's love!

Yeah, I think 10-15 guitars and bass would cover just about anything I'd need, but I'm sure there's people out there who'd think if I had any more than one or two guitars I'd be a looper altogether.

To be honest I'll be happy with around five guitars and maybe two more basses. Ideally I'd like to have a Jazz and a Rick along with my warwick. Guitar wise a tele, a jazzmaster, a vox phantom, a gretsch country gent and maybe a proper LP (but I do love my epi LP).

To be anal, most of those in the pic a reverse Thunderbirds. Only the white one beside him has the true Thunderbird shape

Actually, my bass player just picked up a Tokai reverse Thunderbird... quite nice it is too.
