Sorry I think the course will be in the new year now.Basicly my names Jason O Ceallaigh.I've trained under Frank Mc Conville at both Muay Thai 'n' the ole stuff too.Frank's maddness put me on a journey.....that has ended up in studying Silat....under Steven Benitez. Now this Silat was formed by four ole body guards. One from Siam, one from Persia,India and China....they became mates, cross trained each other....brought it into the arena of life 'n' death, tested it over the years...past down through the ages, fighting every one from the Dutch to the Japanese.A sport it aint !!! All areas of the battle
are covered,it's for fighting a lot of people....armed 'n' hungry to use them.
The battle fields may have changed but man has not.....so fighting is just fighting.I could say....I study various styles of fighting from Indonesia 'n' be a snob but to honest it's just Silat.....Indonesian Self Defence.Even now,I'm learning a style of Silat from Siam ( Thai-Land ) it wasnt called Silat in Siam
but when these thai's lived in Indo, married local people...etc....etc it became
Indonesian Silek or Silat " To defend ones Self " and was changed for ever by the Indo flavour of fighting. There is a great link between the Indo arts and the arts of ole Siam........you'll see that when me 'n' Frank teach.I'll keep you posted............JC
