    ...hopefully with a quick answer.

Can i use my AIB ATM card to lodge money into my AIB account while i am in another country? It's got link and plus on the back of it, so i know i can withdraw money. Does anyone know if i can lodge it too?

The other country being Germany or nearby.

    Thanks.

No, you can't lodge money in that way.

If you have a bank account in germany you could do a transfer between the two accounts, but otherwise I don't think you could.

Go into the bank and just ask for an international fund transfer.
You will need your AIB details and you will probably get charged about 20 euro.

    Simple as that.

Could you deposit a check over the post at all?

If it is cash, you might be able to buy a cashiers check / bank draft in Germany, and post it back, as a last resort. Also, AIB might have an office in Germany. I know they have one here (the States).
