I have a Kodak Easyshare digital camera but when I e-mail the photographs they are very large files.

Am I supposed to compress or convert them in any way before attaching them, if yes how do I do it ?

I suggest using Hello from Google to send them. You will need Picasa aswell but it will automatically re-size your pictures to whatever size you feel is best. Plus if the person your sending them to has Hello, well you can just transfer them across instead of emailing them!

I have a Kodak Easyshare too and pics were a ridiculous size so I changed Picture Quality via menu from 2nd Best option to One-star quality, which still produces great pics.

Size is reduced, better for storage and can fit way way more on the memory card too, so less hassle there.
