Just noticed on the Dart today that there's a full service next weekend due to a major airshow on in Bray on the Sun 3pm-6pm.

Couldn't find any sign of it on the CIE pages but AA Roadwatch mention it.

Running on the 27th/28th as well for something on in Dun Laoghaire

But the end date has now moved back a week so the weekend of the 17/18th of September is the last weekend closure

Full DART services Aug 20th-21st and 27th-28th for Bray Airshow and Dun Laoghaire Festival by Press Office

Iarnród Éireann has reminded customers that full DART services are set to operate across the next two weekends (August 20th-21st and 27th-28th) for two of the summer’s biggest events – the Bray Airshow and the Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures respectively.

On these weekends, DART Upgrade capacity and accessibility works on the Southside will be put on hold to allow the DART service to carry tens of thousands of customers to these two spectacles.

Hundreds of train services will operate on each of the two weekends giving customers the fastest, safest and most reliable means of attending the Airshow this weekend, and the Festival of World Cultures on the following weekend.

Southside DART Upgrade works will conclude on the weekend of September 17th-18th, as the €176 million investment in the country’s greatest public transport success story delivers accessibility and capacity benefits. This will ensure thousands more customers every day will be able to use the DART, including to travel to future Bray Airshows and Dun Laoghaire Festivals of World Culture!
