I am trying to find out if anyone knows of any upcoming gigs by a lad called

The Mighty Stef (ex The Subtronics)

I can't seem to find any thing on the web and I didn't get a reply to an email address I found for him.

He's got a web site but he doesn't seem to keep it up to date cos he's a lazy bastard...

    www.themightystef.com

But you might get a response from the message board on the website.

By the way his e-mail is dirtypropaganda@yahoo.com if you want to contact him. It's on the web site.

I think theres details on... myspace? Possibly? Ya know, I was always wondering who the dude was, and then I found out he was the old frontman for the Subtonics. Now, I dunno if hes the same guy, but the frontman for the subtonics I remember was an absolute gimp.

I know him from way back and I couldn't see how he would be described as a 'gimp' .. bit of a headcase alright !!

So eh... if ya know him from way back, would ya not give him a ring or something about his next gig? Or is this a subtle publicity post?

Ah, I didnt like the way he behaved at the gig... he played a gig in Trinity, was up the front with a load of mates, went to get pints between bands, didnt bother going all the way back to the seats in the front and watched them from the back, but he was all "yeah, we dont need all those ****s up the front" or something to that effect. He was just too arrogant really, didnt like the way he was acting at all at all. He might be a nice bloke, but thats my one experience of him, and it was a poor one.

I wouldn't have been a mate or anything, just knew him through other heads and what have you.
