Fairly new to playing online poker this week I started in some STT on PPP.

If I play in $2-$3 STT NL I can 9/10 times come first, which I was surprised as I'm still learning the game I've played about 30 or so games over the last 4 days and I'm not complaining but as soon as I move up to the bigger games even a small jump, I can't seem to get a hand and get wiped of the table fairly quickly.

The only thing I’ve noticed is I do play a lot more loose and aggressive on the $2-3 and have found the players are fairly weak and only seem to go when they have a really really really good hand, very easy to read and will run away quickly from aggressive betting but on a higher stake table they're not so naive i'm not talking huge jumps a $5 table for example

So I seem to be in a catch 22, I'm not learning anything on the lower tables but can't last long enough on a bigger table to learn anything.

    Anyone any suggestions?

How can anyone take this thread seriously after such a statement.

Sorry? I'm not claiming to be some demi poker god, I've only been playing online for 4 days, I can't understand it eithier, but for the last 4 days on low tables I can't seem to loose, great hands weak players etc but as soon as i move up a notch i get wiped.

what's the problem with the statment?

well done man, hope it continues

ur playing fearless at low levels and will continue to enjoy it.
but the higher up in limits u go, the more u will meet players who know every betting pattern in the book.

I've been meaning to write an article on betting patterns because these are the real tells, not the scratching ur ear with ur index finger thing that works for movies.

anyway, good luck, stay within the limit comfort zone that brings out ur best game and in a few months from now u'll be wondering why ur winning at higher limits but losing at the cheapest ones.

    d.
