Hi, could anyone suggest a Hotel in Dublin where I might stay with my family that would also have a secluded (but public is fine) area/lobby that I could meet a few business contacts ? A hotel in the suburbs would be fine so long as it's not too far out (< 4 miles from city center).

I'm pretty sure people use the Gresham for that kinda thing...?

Thanks for the info I might try the Gresham the next time around. I'm gonna take my chances with Bewleys Hotel in Ballsbridge and hope I can scope out a quiet spot for my meeting. I'll reply here with info how it goes JIC it's useful to anyone else.

There's plenty of areas in Bewleys where you can have a quiet discussion - I use it all the time for meetings

Clontarf Castle is nice. And the lobby has many little secluded areas.

As mentioned above Bewleys Ballsbridge has quite a few nooks and crannys where you could have an informal meeting.
