Weird TV Out Problem!

Hi, I'm having a bit of a strange problem with my tv out.
I have the tv out of the graphics card (Radeon 9600) connected to a 21" TV through an S-video to RCA adapter.
The desktop shows up on the tv fine, but when I play a movie on media player the picture shows up on the monitor but not on the TV.
The funny thing is that when I play a music file with media player, the 'ambient graphics' that are displayed show up on both screens!

Anyone know why this is happening?
    Thanks in advance, Barry.

Your desktop is (probably) set up to span the 2 monitors, though it shows the full background on both. Reduce media player from full screen, drag it to the other monitor & then maximise to full screen on the TV.

This problem also happens to me, If you say play the DVD or Avi. File back in WMP, Winamp or DVD software and you drag the film on to the TV you see everything But the film, JUst a bacl screen but you can see the software, Its a Coded Issue IIRC, I never managed to sort this out, well TBH i never tried but i would like to find how to sort this problem, It is a regualr problem people can come accross. You're not alone ;)

Display /Properies / Video /theatre Mode / change both to full screen.

Different versions of ATI control centres , it loooks different but play a movie in WMP and change the settings as its playing and you should get normal desktop with small WMP on pc and full screen movie on tv.

Btw ATI tv out sucks , endless amount of ****e its caused me over the years.

Thanks, Kdjac, what you suggested worked perfectly!
Just had to root around a bit to find the theatre mode setting page.
    Cheers man!
