Anyone have any thoughts on Dash of Grey in the 6:50 tonight in Tramore, been watching him closely and hes always ran well. Last time out in Galway he was stepped up in trip and still managed to place himself. The only thing is his jockey TP O'Shea is not on him tonight, but he has got a jockey with a five pound claim.

Im wondering is this on purpose just to give him more of an edge or are they going to hold him back for a while.

I wouldn't let the riding arrangements put you off, I'd take Chrissy hayes with a 5lb claim over Tadgh O'Shea any day.

The horse itself looks the standout pick on it's form, but I'd be cautious as this is a claimer and horses run in these sort of races for a reason.

Carrying on from what MasterK said marty, you have to be wary of claiming races...for a number of reasons. Firstly Paul Nolan has opted for his horse to be put up for sale...so there's a reason for that...also these races are notorious for trainers who like to mess with the form of their horses before entering..this keeps other trainers guessing about the ability of the horse and provides the most popular betting opportunity for trainers with their own horses. That said the horse may go on and win as he clearly has some kind of ability.

Blue Corrig 17:50 9/4 This former top class horse which won the ulster derby should be classy enough to beat this field today. He was running on well in the finish behind the improving thunder road(ruby walsh riden) and today has ruby on board and should prove to be a sad winner for the family of the late owner dick forestal who was murdered in this home a few weeks ago.

Bowling Green 18:20 5/2 Caught the eye on his latest run when coming from behind to get involved in the finish and only barely getting beat.He has ruby walsh on board today as he has being riden by claimers on his last few rides and should beat Mullaghea Boy who won a four horse race in tramore last night and other useless horses in the race.

Sauterelle (n.b) 7.20 10/1 Also caught the eye last time out in a twice as good race as this.He had Shaunas Vision behind him in that race who is worse in here to day at the weights and had sea skate infront of him.Sea skate is the horse to beat on his latest run a few days ago but sauterelle is 10lbs better off today with sea skate than in galway not including the good claimers 5lbs claim.Todays siffer track should suit him and will give tom mullins a good run.

Dow Jones (NAP) 7.50 7/2 This prolific front runner who ran well twice in the space of a few days in galway under high weights was 3rd on both occasions should run his rivals into the ground this evening. This horse who lead all the way over 2mile 4 and 3mile in galway only being caught in the final fourlong is back to tramore today where he once led all the way to win over the course has no burden weight only a low weight and 3lbs claimer on board(r cleary). He also has no galway hill or long run in to tackle today and no classy horses in the race to beat him.He should give mick halford another winner by leading all the way and kicking on round the final few bends and running up the short run in.The only horse that will come within lenghts of him will by my neighboors horse Borrismore Lass which i have ridden out.He is a good horse but he has to come from behind and does not have the class of the selection and will not be able to contend with him but will be there or thereabouts for the exacta.

Martinstown Lady 20:20 4/1 He ran well behind a before hand unlucky horse(gunnison)when he went down by only a few lenghts in a highly contested bumper at cork first time up.Gunnison who is owned by friends of mine the doolans(builders) think that there horse gunnison is a horse for the future and maybe a cheltenham contender. Gunnison won the race well and martinstown lady ran an great race running into fouth place on its first run.Gunnison before that had a bumper won in clonmel but lost 10 lenghts in the finish by hanging from one side of the course to the other and only went down by 4 lenghts in 5th place. The form is great and Martinstown Lady should give the fahey family a great winner and a horse for the future.

I recomend you do a 1euro lucky31 and you will be thanking me later for my info.
