Not knowing the HDD size or RAM or battery life,

Knowing that Graphics is gonna be integrated (I've had a few Porteges, they're Toshiba's "mainstream" ultra-slim/ultra-portable line - the other being their Librettos),

Knowing that it has 10/100 and Wi-Fi built-in,

->I'd put it somewhere near GBP275-285 or so.

For the record, I'm basing this price on the fact that I bought (about 3-4 months ago) a D600 with Cen1.6/512/20G/Wi-Fi/DVD for GBP320 off eBay. So yours should be even cheaper, but I'm making an allowance for the form factor.

All ballpark guesstimated off course. And -since you're obviously a registered eBay user- why don't you just do a search on recently completed auctions for similar items anyway? Me, I can't be @rsed - it's not mine to price up anyway...

40Gig HDD, 256Ram, 10/100Lan, Firewire, 2xUSB, 56k modem, 2xPCMCIA slots, 1 SD card slot, infra red, no bluetooth, 4hrs battery life. It has an internal graphics card, not NVidia or anything, so it is not really a gaming machine. If I want gaming I will get a Sony PS3! I am also going to get a new keyboard (it is still under warranty, so will be free) at some stage as it has a 2 dead keys.

There is the 2004 model M100 which is 1.4 centrino and a bit better on Ebay starting at £700 / € 1000.

I was just curious really - just the warranty runs out next year, so replacing it had crossed my mind.

You'd get maybe 500E for it?

well you can get the above for €1,088 new. its like yours except is new and has 1.6ghz Pentium M.

so around 500-600 sounds close to the mark for me.

to be honest laptops are rarely worth selling.

you could get the best price from some student who wants it for typing and doesn't know mush about prices.
