Millenium Falcon info?

Does anyone know where I can get some info on the Millenium Falcon?

Now I'm not talking about trivia like 'it can do the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs' or 'it's 26metres long' or 'it had a brief cameo in ep3' etc etc

What I'm looking for is real world prouction stuff like 'who came up with the concept and designed it', 'how was the actual set constructed' or 'is the set still in existence somewhere or turned into firewood long ago?'

The closest thing of any use I could find was over on blueharvest but the construction photos there are tiny and the info is little more than a commentary on the aforementioned photos. Strangly considering how popular SW and the MF are it doesn't have such info out there or if it does then I just can't find it :(

    Any info gratefully recieved.

the idea came from george lucas eating a hamburger, he took a bite out of it and saw the shape

when it was built, in england it was done under massive secrecy, people thought it was a ufo.

the falcon could actually hover, several inches over the ground, to aid movement of the entire prop without having to disassemble it.

as to what happened to it, i cant remember off hand. those are just some useless facts i DO remember

Well after hundreds of hours of research (not really) these are the only relevant links I can come up with. :(

    Ep4 Falcon set

    Ep5 Falcon set

Its not the ANH Falcon I was hoping for but it appears a second set was built for ESB ... and yes indeed IT FLOATED! :)
