Hey my friend is on the look out for a beginners acoustic pack and he spotted this which i suppose is appealing as it includes everything you need to get started : F310-PK2 : Yamaha Acoustic Guitar Pack http://www.normans.co.uk/acatalog/Shop_Starter_Packs_65.html

I was just wondering is there any acoustic that would be better for the money to start with (about £100).

You'd get a far better acoustic Guitar if you didn't go for the whole "Beginner Package" which contains a load of extra(cheap) sh1te. Buy a second hand acoustic on ebay or buyandsell. Most acoustics sound better with age anyway so buying them new(especially the cheap ones) may not be a better option.

    My 2c!

i agree.. yamahas are nice guitars.. i have one.. but i wouldn´t get the beginner packs... even if you borrow a guitar off a friend or somethin and see how ya like it, before ya go splashin out on one of yer own... *adds 1c*
