On the cheap doesn't exist. I'd paid a small fortune for mine. Nearly €200. Then again, I got the works so I won't need them again

Don't forget that if you're a PAYE worker you can claim tax relief on the cost of the GP visits, shots and prescription drugs, minus the first €125.

Probably won't be much, but you're entitled to it.

    Hi Al

For Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam travel:

Im getting mine in The Cambridge Clinic in Rathmines.
    Visit to Nurse : €30
    Thyphoid + Hep A : €75
    Hep B : €35
    Tetnus + Diptheria : €15

Malaria to be gotten in the chemist in tablet form.
One type costs €5 per tablet (per day) while in the effected areas
Not fully up on the different types of Malaria tablets - ask in the chemist

There may be other vaccines required for Malyasia - Ask the Doctor / Nurse.

    Hope this helps,

    N.

You're welcome! Fill out this form and send it to your local Revenue office, freepost.

You don't have to include the relevant receipts, but you must have them in your possession in case they choose to audit you, which is highly unlikely.

You can also claim for any other GP visits you may have made during the year, and a bunch of other stuff; it's all listed on the form.

Tropical Medical Bureau. They were very good. Got vaccincations for Brazil there.

Most places seem to be standard price anyway.

I Got HepA, Diptheria, Tetanus and Typhiod. Total €127.

They have loads of clinics and the website tells you what is advised for the areas you are going to...
