Help!!! Installing programs in Windows XP Home Edition

    Hey all,

I'm hoping that one of you might be able to help me out. I'm trying to install programs in Windows XP home and then allow other users on this PC (with admin rights) to use them. I know that some installers will give the option for installing programs for every user or just one user but some programs don't give this option. When my flatmates log on using their own usernames and try to access programs like www.888.com poker client or soulseek they get an error saying that the program is corrupt. When I log in to my own account these programs run perfectly. Can anyone help me out before I go nuts!

    Thanks in advance!

Sounds likely that required registry entries were written into HKEY_CURRENT_USER, which wouldn't be accssible to anyone other than yourself.

Is there anyway to rectify that at all? I've done a bit of Registry editing before but I'm by no means a whizz!

Well, you could try reinstalling the programs under their profiles...

I tried that but it said that the programs had already been installed.
