    Actually it was only €1500 last year. These events need a larger buy in to distinguish them from the many €1000-€2000 events held across Europe. The Dublin EPT was one of the lowest buy ins on the tour last year and this was reflected by no seat in the €10,000 Final added to the event. There will be plenty of chances to qualify 'on the cheap' and the supporting tournies should be reasonable enough.

    I'm sure pokerstars will be holding satellite again this year. I'm all over them. I think Hotspur won one on stars last year but it may have been HEAT. It was one or the other anyway.
