I'm using a Dell inspiron 2600 which was fobbed off on me at work. I noticed the battery life I was getting was pretty poor so ordered a 'new' battery through the IT Dept. I'm still only getting about 45 mins battery life which basically means its a small desktop, not a laptop. From those of you in the know, what sort of…

it depends on what processor is in the laptop, if its a celeron or pentium 4 processor then you will get crap battery life as these processors tend to drain batteries quickly. what are the specs of the laptop?
