    Hi guys

Here's one to test ye green fingered experts out there.

What's the best way to permanently kill off some or all grass in back yard, without poisening the soil, maintaining the ability to grow / eat vegetables later on.

Dig garden and turn grass on its face so that it dies.

I'd take up the sods of grass, give them away to someone - then dig in new manure/top soil mix to replace, gives a good boost to any new veg patch ;)

Shouldnt be a problem, though you will have to wait a few weeks before you can start growing other stuff.
People use it all the time for a "fresh start" on their lawn, kill all the weeds and start again.

smoke it or bring it with u to next night club and give it away for free. ha ha.

or try puting a large sheet of ply or something similar on it. the grass dies after a few days / weeks (???) when no light gets at it. not sure how effective it would be but worth a go the natural way before putting chemicals on it. at least it makes the grass easier to cut away.
