I've been away for most of the summer and now my debs is in a few weeks...all my friends have their dresses, so I'm beginning to panic! I've looked in a few of the usual places Debenhams, monsoon etc., but everything I look at seems to be the same as in the shop before. Does anybody know where I can find a dress thats even the teeniest bit original?? Any help at all is very much appreciated!! Thankyou!

Hey, Don't Panic about the Dress thing everything will fall into place in due course. have you looked in the ladies section in roches on henry street there's a monsoon there and another debs dress style shop on the right as you come up the evelator. as for the original thing you coul always try hickeys on henry st. they do some dresses and if you don't like them you could always pick out your fabric there and design yourself. or get it designed and made for you. Let me know how things go. and best of luck :) xxx

Coast do fabulous dresses, only problem is they have a fairly limited range and you could end up in the same dress as someone else. Perhaps get some inspiration from high street stores and get one made. Then you're sure to be wearing something different,

I got mine on the internet, www.promgirl.net
If you search throught he site it has some gorgeous dresses. It works out much cheaper and I had it shipped over in one week. And you can almost gaurantee that no-one will have the same dress! Here is the one I got: http://store.promgirlonline.com/promdress6122.html
A bit of advice: make sure you know about the differences in American sizes, maybe get it a size too big just in case, you can always get it taken in.

[Does anybody know anywhere in Dublin where you can get cocktail dresses that could be worn as debs dresses?i'm determined to wear a dress that's knee-length or just below knee-length because i hate long dresses but long dresses is all that i can find anywhere.

Julien second floor stephens green shopping centre have some really cute knee length styles. also Coast and there is a few in Roches that could be worn as debs dresses. Costume beside Harlequin near georges street arcade has some too as far as i can remember but theyre very expensive.
