NTL MMDS for apartment-questions

NTL MMDS is available in our area, but of course our management agreement forbids dishes, aerials etc.

To hell with them. Our current cable providers are a joke, and I want to get someone else.

Questions are: what do NTL have to stick onto my apartment? Where would it have to go? It's a south-east facing 2nd floor (4 floors in the block). What size is the aerial/dish and does anyone have a pic?

    Cheers

Who is your current cable provider? If it's not NTL,then it must be Chorus.
NTL and Chorus don't cross each others areas.
Your only other option would be Sky and a dish on a balcony(if you have one pointing in the right direction.)

    Would the management notice this???

Cable companes can compete now, they just don't because it is expensive to build networks. If you are in an area covered by both (MMDS) you can get NTL or Chorus. There are lots of small cable companies now too, Magnet, cablewatch and Smart vision are some of the ones I have heard of in Dublin. These only operate in certain developments, most of these would be surrounded by NTL or Chorus areas.
