    hi
    i have a date in a (mysql) db field as a Unix timestamp.
    eg 1121880568 (which is infact 20/07/2005)
    i know how to transform the former to the latter in php
    - date( 'd/m/Y',$row1->date)

    HOWEVER
    can anyone tell me how i could do so in the sql select statement IF possible ie
    something like this............
    SELECT DATE_FORMAT(date) AS created FROM.....................

    im looking around and cant seem to find out how..........

    Tnx
