From Mag's email a week or so ago (single table tournaments normally start from about 4pm):

Our “August Pokerfest” will run from Friday August 12th – Sunday August 14th. The €500 Freeze-Out will take place on Saturday with the final on Sunday. Due to popular demand we are adding a €100 buy-in tournament on Friday and a €50 buy-in tournament on Sunday.

This is the first I heard of this but I have taken a break from the poker scene for a number of weeks now and am out of touch. I'm presuming that the 100 game on Friday and the 50 game on Sunday are both Freezouts but can anyone confirm this. Also does anyone have any details on the pokerfest tournaments ie start times, starting chips, blind levels etc. Thanks.

Excellent tournament last night, over 50 runners, really high standard.
7.5k in starting chips and 30 minute clock.
    Anyone know the result?
I went out in 12th to just miss the money, doh!
Big Al from Cork was chip leader when I left

Alan Gibbons split it with someone else. He got 8,250 plus a 540 ticket for next month. Vera and John (the american guy) were in the money somewhere...
