Clay Courts

Last night I played in the South Tipp Clay Court Championships. Played mixed doubles. Got hammered - which is fine as they were the better team. But does anyone find clay an extremely difficult to play on? Perhaps it was just our particular court but it was nightmarish. Receiving a serve a ball could literally go anywhere. A ball hitting the line ment hitting a platic sheet and possibly the head of a rivit holding that line down.

Ill stick with the omnicourt tounrnaments from now on I think! Clay is just too crazy :)

I've played on clay before in Germany and it was a beautiful surface to play on. A lot slower than hardcourt or omni, I think you just got a bad court (Was it the one in Lattin?)

Thankfully not - Ive played on those before. This was in Tipp County itself. In Tipp Town
